Ok so these images are from a project entitled 'Monster Plants'. We went to the eden project, where we did observational drawings and took photos in preparation for development. Here i've included the images in different stages of experimentation and development. Some are just hand -drawn and scanned in, and some are altered in Photoshop or Illustrator.

The tree is a 'zombie tree'. I think it works best in black and white but the colouring process was a good learning exercise for me because it presented lots of trials in Illustrator.

The other two i think work well in colour. They were originally drawn with ink and watercolour.
